ANTI-FUR PROTEST

Join the fight against greedy corporations abusing innocent animals for their fur!

On fur farms around the world, millions of minks, foxes, and chinchillas are living in tiny wire cages waiting to be gassed or electrocuted for a fur trim. Their suffering stops when fur ends. It's time to finally end this cruel industry.

This protest is being organized as a part of a Coalition to Abolish the Fur Trade's Milan Fashion Week/LVMH Campaign. New York Fashion Week banned fur from its runways after protests. London Fashion Week banned it. Milan is one of the last two major fashion weeks still allowing fur. It has already lost 5 sponsors due to pressure, and it is closer to falling than it has ever been. LVMH is the last major fashion conglomerate still selling fur. We will not beat fur if we do not beat LVMH.

We are part of the international campaign demanding that LVMH stop being complicit in animal cruelty and drop fur from their supply chain.

The demonstration will be a loud protest with whistles and megaphones of the duration of about 90 minutes. Signs and earplugs will be provided (bring your own earplugs if you have them!). Feel free to bring megaphones, whistles, drums, or other noisemakers. Please do not bring infants or nonhuman animals to the event.

Meet up and quick briefing session: Outside MAX Egertorget (Karl Johans gate 18C)
Protest starts from ~13:20 outside Dior (Nedre Slottsgate 13) and moves to Louis Vuitton (Karl Johans gate 16C) around 14:15.
