Cube of Truth: vegan street outreach

Cube of Truth as part of the campaign True North, lead organized by Paul Bashir, co-founder and director of Anonymous for the Voiceless.

OSLO will be ending the summer with Norway’s biggest AV campaign yet! 🇳🇴⛓️‍💥 During this campaign we will be also joined by activists from across different countries.

Together we’ll improve our outreach skills through the Masterclass, as well as stand up for the animals and hold non-vegans accountable during the Cube of Truth events.

The Cube of Truth is a street outreach action that employs direct action with the public in a structured manner. We use standard practice footage displayed on screens to expose the truth about non-human animal exploitation to the public and one-on-one conversations, holding the public accountable for their human supremacism and leading them to veganism and defending other animals.

Masks, outreach closing cards, and signs are provided by the organisers. We use TV screens, so you do not need to bring any laptops or tablets. If you arrive later, please watch the volunteer briefing video at activism101.com before or upon arrival.

When attending a Cube of Truth, please do not bring bags or personal belongings unless you absolutely need to. If you do, you will need to wear your bag during the entire event, so pack lightly. Any items brought to the Cube are your responsibility. ORGANISERS WILL NOT STORE AND ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS IN ANY WAY.

Always wear weather‑appropriate PLAIN BLACK clothing (no graphics, logos, or wording except “vegan” or “veganism”) or official AV clothing without the line “animals · environment · health”. Avoid jewelry, accessories, pins, or badges linked to political parties, religions, or human‑related causes. This is essential to our aesthetic and mission. You can purchase official AV clothing on our website: cubeoftruth.com. Absolutely no animal derived clothing, footwear and no fake fur (including faux fur trims) is to be worn at a Cube of Truth.

Respect AV organisers and other volunteers at all times, adhere to our structure and protocols, and represent our core values (vgn.li/av-values) while attending a Cube of Truth. The seriousness and professionalism of our actions are directly proportional to how the public perceives us.

Masker, skilt og oppsøkende kort leveres av arrangørene. Ta med en fulladet laptop eller nettbrett hvis du har en, med våre standard Cube-opptak og anbefalte mediespillere allerede lastet ned og klar til å spille på en loop. Det er viktig å forberede enheten på forhånd. Sørg for at enheten er dempet, har Wi-Fi deaktivert (for å bevare batterilevetiden), har maksimert lysstyrke og passordbeskyttelse deaktivert.

Når du kommer på Cube of Truth, vennligst ikke ta med vesker eller personlige eiendeler med mindre du absolutt trenger det. Hvis du gjør det, betyr dette at du vil ha på deg vesken så lenge arrangementet varer, så pakk lett. Eventuelle gjenstander som bringes til kuben er ditt ansvar. ORGANISATORER VIL IKKE LAGRE OG ER IKKE ANSVARLIG FOR DINE PERSONLIGE EIENDOMMER PÅ NOEN MÅTE.

Bruk alltid vanlige SVARTE klær som passer for været uten grafikk, logoer fra andre organisasjoner og/eller meldinger som ikke er i tråd med vår avskaffelsesholdning, eller bruk AV-merkede klær uten linjen "dyr · miljø · helse". Absolutt ingen animalsk klær, fottøy og falske pels (inkludert fuskepels) skal brukes på en Cube of Truth.
