Alnarps Agroecology Farm
Alnarp's Agroecology Farm is a community-run market garden just outside Malmö in Sweden that was started in 2021 by a collective of agroecology master's students at SLU who wanted a place to put theory into practice.
What began as a single 400 m² plot has grown into 2000 m² of market garden production plus a 2000 m² apple orchard, worked by four part-time staff and a rotating crew of volunteers. Everything is grown using ecological, agroecological methods and sold to the surrounding community.
The farm is open to anyone who wants to learn about agroecology, get their hands in the soil, or simply buy good local vegetables. Students and non-students, complete beginners and seasoned growers, all welcome 🌱
