Flow with us! Ven a hacer flow!
Come Flow with us! Ven a jugar!
Do you feel climate grief or are just very anxious about current events in the world? Flow is the best way to externalize these feelings! Come meet up with some awesome people that care about the planet and love to flow!
We will have flow sessions every tuesday: October 20, 27 and November 3, 10, 17, 24 - more dates to be confirmed
Address: Pilestredet 30, 0166 Oslo
(Read guidelines below before joining)
This is an association created by students of the University of Oslo that love to flow with different kinds of props like poi, hoops, juggling, staff or more! (You do not have to be a student to join). Got any cool props you like to practice with? Don’t have any but want to try? Join us!
What is flow arts? Flow arts uses concepts from global traditions such as poi spinning (originated from the Maori people of New Zealand) or for example martial arts (staff and sword handling). Different props have different origins and today there have been new ones like gloving for example, originating in raves!
Flowing is about enjoying movement and can be interpreted in different ways -> here is a link where you can learn more: https://www.drexfactor.com/index.php?q=weirdscien…
Wanna learn more but in video format? Check out this awesome video from DrexFactor on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqemAYhTi9Q
We will bring props/toys that we have (hoops, poi) but definitely bring your own if you have! The dark is coming this season so bring your led props if you have any <3
If you want to come but for some reason cannot join us in this this session, follow us on instagram @FlowArtsUiO!
We will have meetups every Tuesday at 16:30. The place can vary and when the rain/snow comes, we will move to an inside venue 🙂
